As the General Manager of Point Contracting, I am committed to offering excellent service at a reasonable price. My experience as a licensed general contractor has made me frustrated with the bad players in the construction industry who tarnish the reputation of contractors.
With over 22 years of owning construction companies, I faced challenges with unreliable partners, which led me to establish my own company. Throughout my journey, I have navigated various company sizes and operational styles. Initially, I sought as much work as possible, believing I could find people to perform the tasks needed. However, this approach often forced me to depend on staff who did not deliver quality work, struggled with teamwork, or simply did not show up. Managing a large team often left me dealing with employee issues and customer complaints, diverting my focus from meeting my customers' needs.
Today, I take a much more measured approach to contracting. I keep the highest quality tradesmen that I have worked with for years, bring in qualified subcontractors as needed, and only take on as much work that we can complete with exceptional service.
